Manjimup
A relatively small, yet beautiful wine region blanketed with Karri forests that cover the area around the town of Manjimup in the Southern Forests of Australias South West.
Within the region Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon is widely planted with Merlot and Verdelho being the showcase wines of the area.
Margaret River
The Margaret River Wine Region covers the area between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin and east to Busselton, enveloping a cluster of towns, each with its own distinct personality.
In by no means order of importance Margaret River excels in the making of complex viscous Chardonnay, structured generous Cabernet Sauvignon and intense yet elegant Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon Blends, the style very much the bread winner for the area.
In recent years Shiraz has started to show promise as a more than fleeting varietal for the region.
Simply put Margaret River is one of Australias best known wine regions.
Great Southern
A large region (even by Australian standards) stretching more than 140 kilometres deep and 90 kilometres wide. The Great Southern is a spectacular area to visit with vast coastlines and undulating country full of native floral & fauna. The climate is maritime influenced Mediterranean, with significant differences reflected between the sub-regions of Albany, Denmark, Frankland River, Mount Barker and Porongurup.
Home to many fine and stylish wines with distinctive Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc being the guiding light for the region.
