Made from a block of “Clone 95″ vines. Released at the same time as the “estate” chardonnay from the same vintage – which is made using a mix of clone 95 and Gin Gin chardonnay vines. Pristine pure. Quite a cut of acid too. Grapefruit and lemon pith, green melon and creamy/toasty notes. Classy. Lingers well on the finish. Margaret River chardonnay but in a slightly leaner – though not overtly lean – style. I can’t imagine it being met by many complaints.
