Although very pale in colour, this rose is substantial in character. Rather than the direct fruitiness of many pink wines, it has mellow aromas of red berries with a savoury struck-match touch and earthy savouriness typical of old oak maturation. Its subtly complex, with fine, silky texture, persistent flavour and a soft finish.
(13 per cent alcohol; screw cap.) Drink over two years.
